Whether going shopping or to the subway station, you need to go via Tanukikoji. The hotel is located roughly between Susukino Subway Station and Odori Subway Station, closer to Susukino Station, about 200 meters away, a 2-3 minute walk, so transportation is quite convenient. (Note: The hotel officially states the nearest subway station is Odori Station.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Getting to the subway station from Richmond Hotel Sapporo Odori is very convenient. Exiting the hotel side door onto Tanukikoji Shopping Street, you&#8217;ll see this escalator. Going down here leads to the <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sapporo-chikagai.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pole Town underground walkway<\/a> below Sapporo Ekimae-dori. If you are on a self-driving tour and will need the car after checking in, you must park at one of the hotel&#8217;s affiliated parking lots (called &#8220;\u63d0\u643a\u99d0\u8eca\u5834&#8221; in Japanese). When we stayed in 2015, Richmond Hotel Sapporo Odori had two affiliated parking lots.
