Although I frequently visit Hong Kong, I don’t often stay overnight, having only stayed in Hong Kong hotels about four or five times. During the Easter period in 2009, I went on a short trip to Hong Kong. Having previously tried some boutique hotels in Taipei and been very impressed, I specifically looked to see if Hong Kong had this type of boutique hotel and discovered that there are actually quite a few boutique hotels in Hong Kong. I finally chose this one located in Causeway Bay, the Lanson Place Hotel (the hotel’s name is now Hong Kong Lanson Place Causeway Bay Hotel).

Lanson Place Causeway Bay Hotel Accommodation Review

1. Location and Transportation of Lanson Place Causeway Bay Hotel

Lanson Place Causeway Bay Hotel is located on Leighton Road in Causeway Bay, near the Causeway Bay shopping district. However, the hotel’s location is not in the bustling shopping area; there are several schools nearby, making it relatively quieter. Nonetheless, the hotel is only about 500 meters away from places like Sogo Department Store, Times Square, and MTR station exits, just a 5-minute walk, so it is very convenient for both shopping and transportation.

2. Environment and Facilities

↓ The room entrance features a small open-plan kitchen with cooking facilities like an electric stove and microwave ↓

↓ The room design is minimalist and bright, feeling very comfortable ↓

↓ Unfortunately, the double bed size isn’t very large ↓

↓ One entire side of the room is windows, making it particularly bright inside ↓

↓ The bathroom design is very stylish, but it only has a shower. However, I never really liked using bathtubs anyway, so a shower is actually more practical ↓

Lanson Place Causeway Bay Hotel is located in Causeway Bay, the shopping center of Hong Kong Island. Although it’s not right in the central area, it’s only about 200 meters to walk to the central area near Causeway Bay Sogo Department Store, so the location is still very convenient.
